Big History Explores Ancient Egypt
On a trip to the Science Museum Elements course, Big History, explored the eternal lives of the ancient Egyptians, 11 Sep 2017.
The exhibition includes six mummies from the British Museum’s collection. One student said, “We were all excited to see the mummies as it was a rare opportunity for us here in Hong Kong. We learned a lot about non-invasive modern scientific techniques, such as CT Scans, used to find out more about the lives of the ancient Egyptians. We also learnt about the history and practices surrounding mummification.”
“We all really enjoyed the trip and learned many fascinating things.”
