Art in Action to Exhibit Work – POSTPONED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE
POSTPONED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE
Students from ‘Elements’ course ‘Art in Action’ have created children’s illustrated story books themed around a social/global/personal issue of their choice.
Art Teacher, Chris Reinhardt, thought their work so good that he secured an exhibition space, in Sheung Wan, to show their art and ideas. Year 13 student Yu Kakinoki’s illustrated book, produced to raise funds for Katja House in Nepal and Cambodia Care will also be on display, plus works created by Mr Reinhardt.
Reinhardt, “The class have created some really strong work that tackles issues close to their hearts including deforestation, pollution, animal poaching as well as personal issues of wellbeing.”
The art work ranges from hand drawn comics and paintings to digitally created pieces.
Exhibition Opens: 31 Jan 2019 – 08 Feb 2019
Location: Nidio gallery 254 Hollywood Rd, Sheung Wan
