Art and Design Students Research Village Architecture

To get a taste of traditional Chinese village architecture Year 10 Art and Design students visited Tai O, 17 Jan 2017.

Students Iris Tsui said: “We got a taste of the less-seen more traditional side of Hong Kong whilst exploring Tai O Island.”

“We took photographs and produced sketchbook studies about the structures in the area throughout the day. It was a very enjoyable trip and I was able to collect a lot of research material for our new unit. It was really helpful and inspiring.”

All the research and materials collected on the trip will be used as part of the new GCSE unit – Man Made Structures.
