Elements Architecture Students Trip to HKU
Year 9 and 10 Architecture Element course students attended the Master Degree Show at the Hong Kong University on 26 June.
Organised by the Faculty of Architecture, the show features students’ thesis projects. Island School students were given a brief introduction by a member of the faculty – he explained the importance for architects to be visionary and flexible problem-solvers as we face 21st Century challenges such as pollution and over-population.
Ms. Rui-Jun Chuah, Teacher of Art, Textiles & Architecture said, “All of the projects showcased were inspiring and highly-creative, we all enjoyed it.”
