Principal & Volunteer Appreciation Coffee Morning

On Tuesday, December 10, we gathered to celebrate a bittersweet occasion: bidding farewell to our Principal, Mr. Stephen Loggie. The ISPTA, together with parents, School Council members, IS Trust representatives, and ESF guests came together to express our heartfelt gratitude for Mr. Loggie’s memorable tenure at Island School. His leadership has led to numerous successes, with the highlight being the construction of the Borrett Road campus.

Mr. Loggie has been a steadfast advocate for student well-being and pastoral care, working closely with the ISPTA to foster strong partnerships with parents. As he prepares to return to his home in Australia, we wish him all the best in his future endeavors.

The coffee morning took place at our garden space, a result of a collaborative project involving students, the IS Trust, and PTA fundraising efforts. It was a delightful setting to reflect on the positive impact of our school community.

We also took this opportunity to extend our heartfelt thanks to all the parent volunteers who have generously contributed their time and efforts throughout Term 1. A special shout-out goes to those who made the Winter Fair an extraordinary success!

As we wrap up this term and look forward to 2025, we wish all our families a wonderful and restful winter break.

Here’s to an exciting Term 2 ahead!
