World Scholars Cup Bangkok Global Round 2024

From September 5th-13th, a team of 15 IS students made it to Bangkok, Thailand to participate in the 2024 Bangkok September Global Round of the World Scholars Cup! This is the penultimate round before the Tournament of Champions at Yale University. As with the Regional round in March, all Island School teams again broke school records and qualified for the final round in November! This additionally found us boasting traditional Hong Kong snacks at the Cultural Fair, completing a scavenger hunt in groups from students around the globe, touring temples, elephant sanctuaries and symbols of Thai heritage, and closing a week of good memories with the exciting Scholars Ball. We would like to congratulate all teams for coming so far and bringing 70 medals and two trophies home.
