Join the ESF Sustainability Alliance
We are Megan (Island School), Kaden (West Island School), and Hana (West Island School), the current chairs of the ESF Sustainability Alliance. With over 80+ members, the ESF Sustainability Alliance is a diverse group of students across all 7 ESF secondary schools, and our goal is to improve sustainability awareness amongst the student population.
This year, we have achieved some exciting accomplishments, including organizing an ESF-wide sustainability pitching competition and assisting ESF schools in joining the TASS Alliance and more.
As the new academic year begins, we would like to give students who are passionate about environmental sustainability and sustainable development an opportunity to join our initiative through our member recruitment and chair recruitment processes.
Our member recruitment will allow students to enjoy the CAS experience of collaborative group work with one of our teams (activities, policy, or marketing). This will enable them to participate in alliance events and also give them a chance to hone their leadership skills by leading one of the respective groups.
As chairs, students will have the opportunity to take on a more holistic leadership role, managing the logistics and general operations of the alliance.
