Year 13 Exam Results 2023
This year three, Island School students achieved the perfect score of 45 points and three students achieved 44 points. A total of 23 students in Hong Kong attained a perfect score in the International Baccalaureate (IB) exams this year, down from 93 in 2022. The average point score is 36 and nearly 30% of students at Island School achieved over 40 points.

8 students from across the ESF achieve the perfect score of 45 – with a further 28 students receiving a score of 44. ESF students achieved an average score of 36.1 in IB exams – significantly higher than the global average of 30.2.
Of the 18 students that chose the IB Careers Programme 11 achieved Distinction or Distinction Star across all their BTEC subjects. Five students achieved 6 points in their Diploma Programme subjects and 2 achieved the top mark of 7 points. For the first time two students achieved A grades for their reflective project results.
