Inter-house Biodiversity /iNaturalist Nature Challenge results
The iNaturalist City Nature Challenge 2022 took place from 29 April to 2 May. Not only did it allow students to be able to spend their weekend outdoors taking photographs of different wild plants and animals, but also Island School has achieved flying results in the City. A special mention that it is great pride that Hong Kong submitted with over 30,000 observations, 4,000+ species, and 700+ observers, setting a new record for the challenge.
WANBO would like to say a huge thank you to those who participated in this challenge, and we are pleased to see everyone’s enthusiasm and participation in this inter-house event!

Congratulations to Da Vinci and Einstein for placing first in these categories and well done to those who participated!

Observations: 33,118 (7th out of 447 cities) (New HK record)
Species: 4,355 (3rd out of 447 cities) (New HK record)
Observers: 723 (19th out of 447 cites)
