Adrian Wong Champions in Teens Give 2021
Congratulations to Adrian Wong (11W) and his team for winning the video making competition of the first Teens Give Programme 2021 launched by Asian Charity Services (ACS). The team was given the grand prize, $100k to fund their chosen charity, the ChickenSoup Foundation after 1-week job shadowing at the organisation.
This summer earmarked a huge milestone in the community services journey of Adrian. Being an enthusiastic young person, Adrian has been selected to join ACS’s First Teens Give program from 24 July to 5 August 2021. It is a highly engaging program which teaches teens the business of philanthropy and helps them understand their role in this world and the impacts they can make. Through engaging them in a week of invaluable job shadowing in ACS’s list of NGOs, the ten teens teams ended the program with making a marketing videos to promote their NGOs.
Working together with 3 other youngsters, Adrian’s team is led by a voluntary mentor to participate in a week of job shadowing experience in the ChickenSoup Foundation, where they engaged in various aspects of work and learned about how the Foundation helps the families in crisis.
“It was an unforgettable and fruitful experience for all of us. We really hope that our video can touch people’s hearts and let more people know about the philosophy of the ChickenSoup Foundation and how important their impacts, either through volunteering work or donations, can make the needed families a huge difference in life. Afterall, we are one family! SOUL GOOD, ChickenSoup!”, said Adrian.
Their video was posted on the billboard outside of Causeway Bay MTR Exit F1, you can view it here.
