Head Students for 2021-2022 Announced

Congratulations to Aileen Bai Yang (12D), Yu Hang Hui (12R), Grace Zheng (12F) and Ethan Yap (12W) who were named Head Students of 2021 – 2022.

In January, 18 students applied for the roles, the applicants were then shortlisted to 10 and were interviewed by the Principal and the Vice Principal of the Senior Phase.

“This year we had a very tough decision putting the final team together as all the candidates are truly outstanding in different ways. I was very impressed by all who have put themselves up for the role, that they have achieved so much in such a short period of time, especially under the current climate. We not only congratulate the elected students, but also it is important to continue to support each other in the journey ahead, to demonstrate what Island School’s spirit is about.” said Mr Loggie, the Principal.

Mr Rappel, Vice Principal of Senior Phase also said: “Head student has always been such an important role and communication channel between the school and students. We are thrilled to see the new team formed, and I am confident that they will do a great job bringing the school community together.”
