Full- time Educational Assistant – EAL Department (August 2020-21)

The Island School EAL Department is a busy, dynamic team supporting a wide range of students with their academic English.

Our EA’s perform a wide range of tasks including photocopying, resources making, listening to orals, working 1 to 1 with students and small groups and general English support with academic writing. We are looking for someone flexible with a good sense of humour with English at a native speaker level. This person will need to work on both Tai Wai and Shatin Wai campuses during the week.

Requirements

• Initiative, energy and self-motivation;
• The ability to complete tasks independently;
• A willingness to be part of a team;
• Proficiency in ICT skills that can support the production of learning resources and the display of student outcomes etc.

Applicants must be a permanent Hong Kong resident or possess a valid visa to work in Hong Kong.
