Young Post Speaks to Students About Community English
Community English is an extracurricular activity at Island School’s Tai Wai campus, where students from Island School and the neighbouring Ng Yuk Secondary School collaborate to write and publish books.
Two Island School students, Ng Wainung (10N) and Shawn Chan (10N), to talked to the SCMP Young Post newspaper about their Community English experience. In the interview, published on the 8 November 2018, both students talked about how they enjoyed the book-writing process as well as making new friends. Two students from Ng Yuk Secondary School, Patricia and Joyce where also interviewed, reporting a very positive and helpful experience.
