Induction Week 2018
Students across all years met new friends, worked in teams and took on new challenges during Induction Week 2018. Year 7 students met their new classmates and tutor, found their way around the Sha Tin Wai campus and got themselves ready for the year ahead. Year 8 students, started their new Island Time Identity Unit and looked at the new Island School Code.
Students in Years 9, 10 and 11 met their new Exploration groups and together faced team challenges.
Year 12 students started the year with their Induction Retreat at the Auberge Hotel in Discovery Bay. Vice Principal Justine Oliver, “We were delighted to welcome Soundari Mukherjea, Director of the TSol business transformation consultancy as our keynote speaker.”
“She got the day off to a flying start by guiding our students to develop their capacity to focus more effectively on their goals and realise their dreams.”

Students were then split into groups for team building activities, leadership training and wellbeing sessions.
Year 13 students have been focusing on their Group 4 science projects this week. They worked in groups utilising the methodologies of the different sciences to test theories such as: Do faster moving objects absorb more or less water? Their findings were exhibited at a Science Fair setting.
