Young Post Reports on Gloria’s Win at Speaking Competition
The South China Morning Post, Young Post reported Island School student Gloria Leung’s win at the China Daily “21st Century New Oriental Cup” National High School English Speaking Competition held in Hangzhou in April.
Gloria was awarded the second runner-up prize in the Grand Final of the Senior Division. The youngest student to win a prize she presented a series of prepared and impromptu speeches to a live audience. She also had to respond to the judges’ enquiries in a question and answer session.
