HK World Scholars Cup Regional Round 2024

The Island School contingent visited Po Leung Kuk Choi Kai Yau school to compete in the regional round of the World Scholars Cup on the weekend of the 23rd of March. The teams all brought back fantastic results, with every team qualifying for the global round for the first time in Island School history!

Our contingent will be competing in the globals in September, at the exotic capital of Thailand, Bangkok, to fight to make the final Tournament of Champions at Yale in November.

Isabelle Woo (12W) said “We could not be prouder of all the effort each team put into their preparation and studying, and we would also like to thank Ms. Eves for coordinating all the logistics behind this competition, and for making the comeback of the World Scholars Cup to Island School such a smooth ride”.
