Green Week

Green Week is an annual event for students to celebrate the sustainable actions and achievements they have been undertaking throughout the year. Throughout the week students will have the opportunity to take part in a series of active and creative events that all have an environmental based theme. As a school, we are always striving to become more sustainable in regards to how we operate. The student Green Ambassadors are asking students to bring in their own cutlery if they use the school canteen, rather than use the single-use cutlery that is available to them. This reduction in single-use waste will be another step in making Island School a more sustainable one. We would really appreciate your support with this student initiative.
