Squash Player Named 1st Runner Up at Australian Junior Championships

Student Joelle Lee was named the 1st Runner up in the Girls U17 at the 2017 Australian Junior Squash Championships in Victoria, held on the 30 September – 8 October 2017. 

She played 4 matches and made it to the final, she said, “It was a pretty tough match as my opponent was seed 1 of the U17 girls. She was a lot taller and stronger than me (perhaps twice my size) and that’s why her shots were really powerful and she moved around the court really fast. But through this experience, I have gained more knowledge of how to further improve my game!”
