Students and Staff Run in 24 Minute Race
The 24 Minute Race and Dress Yellow Day was held on Thursday 29th November to raise awareness about modern slavery and raise funds for the 24 Hour Race. Senior students will be competing in the 24 Hour Race this weekend. Students and teachers completed as many laps of the school grounds as they could in 24 minutes. The joint winners on the Sha Tin Wai campus were Da Vinci and Wilberforce with the teachers finishing an honorable 7th! On the Tai Wai campus Da Vinci won, completing 71 laps while the teacher team finished with 61 laps.
Senior Head of House, Ms Kate Sommerville said, “The organising committee of Shakti,Garret, Junha, Vanshika and Abbey created a great Island School atmosphere.” The event was jointly organised by the ISSJG and 24 Hour Race committee.
