Understanding Buddhism, Students Visit Monastery

The PRS (Philosophy and Religious Studies) GCSE students were given a guided tour of the brand new Tsz Shan Buddhist monastery in Tai Po, on 25 April.

Year 11 Nicole said, “It is a beautiful setting and there was a peaceful tranquility of the monastery as we made our way around the statues, temples and sculpted gardens.”
“Our visit helped us to better understand the Buddhist faith as we watched people in the gardens and listen to our guide.”
“We heard about the importance of finding time for stillness and quiet in the busy lives we all lead.”
