New Choral Works Written and Performed by Music Teachers
Hear choral pieces written by Island School music teachers Phil Tudor and Joseph Travers and former music teacher Bethan Clarke, performed at the Sheung Wan Civic Centre on 3rd March 2018. Their pieces along with five other composers’ works will be sang by the Hong Kong choir Tallis Vocalis. Each composer has written around a theme, Travers’ piece is a poignant modern take on church music, Tudor’s is a sleepy, but slightly sinister lullaby and Clarke’s is a violent reenactment of a serial killer’s final interview that comes with a parental advisory.
