Packing during school days
Packing has already started and much of the move will take place during the Christmas break, some teaching days have been allocated to moving. The School Council approved one teaching day before the Christmas break and two teaching days in Jan at the start of term when school will be closed to students. This will give staff and the moving company time for packing and unpacking. The days when Island School will be closed to students are: 15 Dec, 2017 and 8 & 9 Jan, 2018
Learning
Staff have been allocated to each of the Sha Tin campuses. Since the start of the academic year teachers and students have been following the decant timetable so students will have the same staff all year.

Wellbeing
If students have any concerns and they would like extra support, particularly in the first few days after the campuses open, students should talk to their form tutor or their House staff.

The wellbeing of students is being taken very seriously and the staff wellbeing working group are arranging trips for the Year 10 and 13 student ambassadors so they get to know and understand the layout of the campuses before the rest of the student body. They will be able to welcome students and direct them around the school. We are also hoping to take all students to the sites before the Christmas break.
