The ESF University Fair will take place at Island School on Wednesday, 18 January 2017 and will include representation from over 165 institutions worldwide. This fair is a great start for students to begin their university research. Students will have the opportunity to meet university representatives, listen to what they can offer and, importantly, ask questions relevant to them as individuals.
As this fair is for all ESF schools, there is limited space and each school is allocated a time slot. The time for Island School Year 12 students is 1:30pm – 3:00pm. Some students will also have a role as a student ambassador on the day. Parents of Year 12s wishing to attend may join us at Island School, particularly in that time-slot which is set aside for Island School Year 12s plus one other school
Year 11 students also have a chance to attend the fair as part of their careers and higher education work that they have been doing throughout the year. Their time-slot is from 1:00-1:30pm.
Parents of ESF students in Years 7-11 and Year 13 are also welcome to attend the fair after 4pm. This timing is important as it ensures that the students themselves get the maximum opportunity to talk to university representatives in their allotted time-slot. Unfortunately, as parking is unavailable on the day you are asked to arrive by public transport. After the event students are asked to make their own way home.
